If
you are playing golf – Upon your arrival, please drive up to the bag drop area located in the front
of the Clubhouse. A bag room attendant will properly tag your bag
and transport it to a golf cart. The locker rooms are located on
the lower level. Our Locker Room Manager will assign you a locker
in proximity to that of your host and will assist you in any way
possible.
Pro
Shop- The Pro Shop staff is available to answer any questions you may have regarding
the golf course, the event in which you are participating, the schedule,
Tee times, or directions around the facility. The Golf Shop is fully
stocked to accommodate any golfing need including equipment, apparel
or accessories.
Attire –
Only traditional and appropriate golf attire may be worn on the Golf
Course and practice facilities (including the driving range). This
rule applies to men, women and children. Shorts are allowable, but
should be of Bermuda length, ending near the knee. Clothing such as
tennis shorts, athletic or jogging shorts, swimming attire, blue jeans,
denim, uncollared shirts (for men and boys) and t-shirts are unacceptable.
Soft
Spikes – Metal spikes are not permitted on the Golf Course. The Club advises the use
of “soft spikes” in order to maintain the highest level of playability
on our greens.
Rangefinders -
Both courses are equipped for laser link range finders
Practice
Tee & Putting Greens – The practice tee is located north of the clubhouse. Please check in at the
Golf Shop for transportation and or directions to the practice tees.
There are two putting greens located at each course for our members’
guests to use.
Care
for the Golf Course - Please be courteous when playing the course
- Repair ball
marks on the greens
- Replace divots
- Rake bunkers
- Please keep
carts on the cart path around the tees and greens
- Be safe when
driving the golf carts (PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE CARTS ON THE MOUNDS OF THE COURSE)
- Deposit waste
in the proper containers located near the tee boxes
Pace
of Play- Always keep up with the group ahead of you. A round of golf at either course
should not exceed four hours and ten minutes. On the golf course
your goal should be to remain within ½ hole of the group ahead of
yours. If a group fails to keep its place on the course, by falling
more than one hole behind the group in front of them, it must allow
the group following to pass regardless of the number of players
in the group.
Caddies -
We take pride in our caddie program which has produced many Evans
Scholars over the years. Members and guests are encouraged to use
caddies when they are available, and are asked to complete a caddie
evaluation form upon completion of play.
The
Halfway House/ Cabana
Our Halfway House serves daily specials, sandwiches, fresh fruit, and much
more. It can be reached at the end of the 9th hole. You may call ahead using
your cell phone to order. The phone numbers are on the score card

Smoking -
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas with the exception of the
men’s card room and the bar area.
Cell
Phones - In keeping with the congenial personality of the Club, we understand the need
for members and their guests to be accessible while at clubs. For
this reason, cell phones are not banned from all Club property.
However, as a courtesy to others, members (and their guests) are
requested to set phones to "vibrate" mode whenever they are on Club property, and to excuse themselves from the dining
and bar areas when receiving or placing cellular calls.
Proper Attire
for the Clubhouse
Thomas
Jefferson, Mount Vernon Room and Monticello Room - sport coat is encouraged, not required for men. Ties are optional. Business
casual or similar attire required for women and children.
Saloon,
19th Hole and Patio - proper golf attire, casual attire or better for men, women and children
(no denim, short shorts, cut-offs, strapless tops, or shirts without collars).
