New Royal Hawk Country Club The former Blackhawk Golf Club was purchased by the ownership of the Royal Fox Country Club in 2004 when the club became known as the Royal Hawk Country Club. The conversion from a semi-private club to a totally private club began immediately after the acquisition and is now closed to public activity. The course is just over 30 years old and has been rated one of Chicago's "Top Ten Best Golf Experiences" by Chicagoland Golf Magazine. Built in the wooded countryside of St. Charles, Illinois, Royal Hawk Country Club brings rustic farmhouse charm and panoramic views of the Fox River Valley.
